Oliver H. Franklin Sr. founder of OHF3Design has been an architect for over 35 years with experience in all phases of the profession.   Architectural experience includes residential, all levels of educational, day care, industrial, governmental and faith based projects. Interior experience encompasses corporate, retail, and residential.

OHF3Design's present concentration is consultation and up front design development services: rendering, concept and schematic design development, programming, assisting client in finding that right site or building, developing budgets, giving clients a clear direction on how to meet and exceed their desired goals.  This is accomplished by collecting data based on interviews and observation while developing an understanding of how the client operates then working closely with them to develop a clear program of their needs.

His architectural career started at the University of Notre Dame where a strong foundation in design was formed and a deep appreciation and understanding of the classical orders by living and studying in Rome Italy. Even though his design philosophy is straight modern with a futuristic bent.

His work has included site and bridge designs for the United Emeriates, corporate interiors for Nuveen, Sara Lee, and United Airlines.  Retail projects for General Growth and Sears.  Design management and process development (Leasebook, standards, tenant design and coordination) for building management companies such as Compass, Equity and John Buck in building such as Willis Tower (Sears Tower), 500 N Michigan and 333 W. Wacker. Governmental projects for Cook County, New Jersey State Capital and New Jersey Sandy Recovery.  Numerous school project at all levels for Harvey & Richton Park School Districts in Illinois, Plainfield and Newark school districts in New Jersey and multiple faith based projects throughout the New York, New Jersey and Chicago areas.
