St. Peters Senior Housing Project - Pleasantville NJ
OHF Project Designer/Project Manager - Johnson Jones

The Archdiocese of New Jersey and the St. Peters Parish wanted to develop senior housing on the St. Peters campus.  The campus consisted of the parish church, school, rectory, bell tower and convent all designed with a southwestern style of clay tile roofs, stucco and brick finishes.  We were tasked with investigating the existing site an determining the best way to develop senior housing.  We initially investigated the existing school building and determined that the renovation cost to modify the structure wasn't practical and the convent and rectory weren't large enough for the desired capacity. We therefore determine after a comparison all of our findings that a new structure was the best alternative.

We then determined the best location on the site to build the required 75 units of senior housing was the north east corner, which required the removal of the existing convent and colonnade attached to the bell tower.
